Dampers
BAYSAN Marine has developed a wide range of Damper Drive Plates to fit most engine/gearbox combinations.
Reduces gear noise, o allows engine to run at lower speeds, stops spline wear.
All dampers are designed to be Fail-Safe and maintain the drive if the flexible element fails.
Special back plates up to 467 mm (SAE 14) diameter.
The flexible elements are made from a Polyester Elastomer which has good heat qualities and is not affected by salt water, diesel and lubrication oils.
Installation to the engine is quick and easy.

Vertical Reduction Hydraulic Marine Gearbox
Maximum Power: 146 Hp (108 Kw)
A hydraulic marine gearbox with twin countershaft designed, separated oil-operated multi-disc clutches for ahead and astern drive allowing full rated power to be transmitted continuously in either direction.
Due to forward and astern gear ratios are same convenient to twin engine installations.
Consists of two separate halves to facilitate servicing.
The oil pump and hydraulic control valves being externally designed for easy accessibility.
Soft gear lever provides controlling facility with spiral remote control.
Suitable for high performance applications, pleasure and heavy duty conditions in fishing and tour boats.
Fully works tested, reliable and simple to install.
The hydraulic system is nevertheless provided with a mechanical lock-up device for added security, so that in the unlikely event of hydraulic failure the boat can be brought safely back to port. Access to this device is via a detachable cover located on top of the main gearcase.
In case of proper usage according to safety usage conditions, proper engine, shaft, propeller selection and errorless assembling occured has 2 years warranty.
